Bedrooms
The house has six ensuite bedrooms, each well-appointed and cheerful in effortless farmhouse chic. The rooms open up through wide French windows to tremendous views of the African bush; you can sit on your private verandah sipping your early morning tea quite away from the world.
Living
With a vast and infinitely comfortable sitting room, a well-stocked library/TV room and wide-open verandah, there are plenty of spaces in which to kick back and enjoy being on holiday.
The drawing room stretches between two generously proportioned fire-places; the perfect spot for a drink before dinner while discussing the day’s adventures. Time for a game of backgammon, or to just sink back into snug sofas and read a book from the house’s broad selection. In this delightfully comfortable house in the wild, you can spend long and peaceful days doing exactly as you please, undisturbed and totally secluded.
Dining
Our fully-trained chef is responsible for all the superb meals you will enjoy during your stay. Menus are especially designed around your specific requests, using always the freshest fruits and vegetables available. He creates a diverse and delicious number of dishes to suit any palette.
Meals can be taken on the verandah, where the spectacular view and wonderful food combine to create quite the epicurean experience. Meanwhile, the beautiful dining room, high ceilinged and complete with an enormous fire place, provides a rather more formal setting for the evening meal. Breakfast might be a bush picnic, with the occasional antelope or even an elephant stumbling upon the feast.
Pool
The infinity pool, overlooking Laikipia’s incomparable views, offers the perfect spot for a refreshing dip in the middle of the day; a blissful escape from the hot, equatorial sun.
Whether you’re sipping a cocktail by the pool before lunch or braving the challenge of a bit of exercise, it is a delightful addition to your stay on Lolldaiga.
